Good girls go to heaven, bad girls go everywhere

Many years ago, I have read a book that attracted my attention with its name. The name was “Good girls go to heaven; bad girls go everywhere. How to break the rules and get what you want from your job, your family, and your relationship”.

The book was written by German psychologist Jana U. Ehrhardt. She told many life stories, proving that weak and submissive women, who having given up their education, career and any development in general for the sake of family and children, lose their individuality and become uninteresting to their partners.

Not everyone would agree with Jana U. Ehrhardt.

She stated that it was very important for women to “maintain their lives in balance, with a clear conscience preserving their rights, and be able to be strong without harming their relationships with loved ones.”

There are women nowadays who live in harmony with themselves! They have found a balance between their desires and the demands of others.

The same time many women still waste their life pleasing everyone, being a “good girl” and forgetting about their dreams and desires. One day “good girls” realise that their life is nearly over, and they didn’t carry out their own plans and ambitions.

We need to remember: If we were born with the wings, we should learn how to fly (Monica Sigel).
