Recovering from depression isn’t quick or easy, especially if your depression is severe and stubbornly persistent. It takes time and may involve lots of ups and downs.
What can you try?
- follow your everyday routine;
- get enough sleep. It is essential for mind and body;
- eat a healthy diet;
- go for a walk every day;
- keep up with social activities even if you don’t feel like it;
- practice self-compassion!
Visit your GP or Psychotherapist if you feel you need help. Getting support can really help you to manage depression.
The sooner this happens, the sooner you can start feeling more like yourself again.
